The Doveton Show is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring one of the region's largest community events to life.
Key dates for Volunteer Expressions of Interest (EOI)
EOI Open - July 10th 2026
EOI Closes - August 18th 2026
Volunteer opportunities are available in the lead-up to the event, on show day, and during the clean-up afterwards. Whether you're assisting visitors, supporting activities, or helping behind the scenes, there's a role to suit a range of interests, skills and experience levels.
Volunteer shifts will be arranged so you still have plenty of time to enjoy the show.

What's Included?
- Volunteer induction and training session, including a farm tour and show day briefing
- Volunteer refreshments on show day

Who Can Volunteer?
We welcome volunteers aged 16 years and over from a range of backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you're looking to gain experience, meet new people, give back to the community, or simply be part of a fantastic local event, we would love to hear from you.
No prior experience is required, just a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a passion for supporting the local community.
Working with Children Checks
A valid Working with Children Check is required to volunteer. See Service Victoria for further information, including how to apply.
